
Jessica Martinez
Jessica Martinez is a senior strategist and government affairs professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Government Relations at the Blockchain Association. In this role, she is a leading advocate for the digital asset industry on Capitol Hill, leveraging a career-long focus on technology innovation to help shape the regulatory future of the crypto economy. Her deep policy expertise is grounded in high-level service across the executive and legislative branches, most recently as the Staff Director for the U.S. Joint Economic Committee. There, she directed the multidisciplinary team that oversaw high-impact research into the critical economic issues defining the modern American landscape.
Prior to her work with the Joint Economic Committee, Jessica was a Partner at the Franklin Square Group, where she advised startups and technology leaders on legislative strategy. Her private sector experience followed her work in the House of Representatives as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Congressman Marc Veasey, where she managed the legislative team and advanced priorities related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and telecommunications. Jessica also served as Special Advisor to then FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel, where she educated stakeholders on emerging frontiers including small satellites and spectrum policy.
Originally from Utah, she holds a B.A. in French and International Relations from the University of Utah.
